Welcome to the Ak-Chin Indian Community Sex Offender Website. This is the official website for Sex Offender information for the Ak-Chin Indian Community. This Website is provided as a public service by the Ak-Chin Indian Community, acting through the Ak-Chin Police Department (ACPD). This Website was established pursuant to the Ak-Chin Sex Offender Registration Ordinance and Public Law 109-248, also known as the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006.
The purpose of the Ak-Chin Sex Offender Website is to provide information to the public concerning sex offenders living, working, or going to school within the Ak-Chin Indian Community. Using this Website, interested members of the public have access to, and may search public information regarding the presence or location of known sex offenders who work, reside, or attend school within the Community. The public can use this Website to educate themselves about the possible presence of such offenders within the Community. The site is NOT intended to replace the community notification process, but rather, it allows the criminal justice community to promote public awareness concerning the potential threat that sex offenders pose to persons within the Community.
